About Nick Hoheisel
I'm Nick Hoheisel and I'm running for State Representative in the 97th District. My wife Misti and I chose to raise our two children here because Wichita has always been our home. Kansas has had its share of problems in the past decade but I wasn't raised to run away from problems– I've always been one to try and solve them.
I'm concerned about the direction of our state and our district. When the politicians in Topeka raised sales taxes among the highest in the nation, I felt obligated to fight for working families and retirees on fixed incomes. Kansas families cannot afford more irresponsible tax increases or experiments. We can do better.
The people of the 97th district are hard-working and they care about their community. I will serve them, not the special interest groups or lobbyists in Topeka.
I believe in public service and in the spirit of community. I currently serve on the City Council District IV Advisory Board as well as the Southwest Village Neighborhood Association Board. I am a graduate of the Wichita/Sedgwick County Citizens Police Academy.
I believe our best days are yet to come, with hard work and common sense we can make Kansas the best place to locate a business, to start a career, and the best place to raise a family. I ask for your active participation in my campaign.
I will work for you in Topeka. Any donation is appreciated and will be put toward running a positive campaign on the issues.
